Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Kuail is designed as an offline-first paper collage studio. Imported photos, generated artwork, and related project metadata are stored locally on your device inside the app sandbox unless you choose to export or share them.

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use Kuail and how you can control it.

2. Information You Provide or Create

Kuail may process the following information on your device:

• Photos or images you select for editing.
• Generated mirror, split-photo, kaleidoscope, and related artwork.
• Local artwork metadata, such as creation dates, selected styles, export formats, and gallery preferences.
• App settings, including export preferences, sound preferences, gallery sorting, and thumbnail preferences.

Kuail does not require you to create an account to use the local editor.

3. Photo Library Access

When you import a photo, iOS may ask for permission to access your photo library or selected photos. Kuail uses this access to let you choose images for editing. The app reads the images you select and does not use photo access to scan your library for advertising profiles.

You can change photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

4. Local Processing

Kuail's editor is intended to render artwork locally on your device. The app does not include a background upload pipeline for your imported photos or generated artwork.

If you choose to export or share artwork, your device may send that content to the destination you select, such as Photos, Files, Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or another app. Those destinations are controlled by you and may be governed by their own privacy practices.

5. Purchases and StoreKit

Kuail may offer optional consumable in-app purchases, such as coin packs. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Kuail may receive purchase status information needed to deliver coins and keep your in-app balance working.

We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple. Apple's handling of payment, billing, refunds, and App Store account information is governed by Apple's policies.

6. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Kuail is built to avoid collecting more information than needed for the app's core features. We do not intentionally collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or contact list through the local editor.
• Your full photo library beyond the images you select or permit.
• Precise location data for app functionality.
• Advertising identifiers for targeted advertising inside Kuail.
• Biometric data, health data, or financial account credentials.

7. Device, Diagnostics, and System Data

Apple or the operating system may provide crash reports, diagnostics, App Store analytics, purchase records, or device-level information to developers when users have enabled those options or when needed for App Store operations. Any such information is handled according to Apple's developer tools and policies.

Kuail uses this type of information, when available, to understand app stability, fix bugs, and support purchase delivery.

8. How Information Is Used

Information processed by Kuail is used to:

• Import selected images and render creative effects.
• Save, sort, display, export, or delete local artwork.
• Maintain app preferences and editor settings.
• Deliver purchased consumable coins and show in-app balances.
• Improve reliability, diagnose issues, and respond to support requests.

9. Sharing of Information

Kuail does not sell your personal information. The app does not intentionally upload your artwork to a Kuail server for storage or processing.

Information may be shared only in limited situations, such as when you choose to export or share content, when Apple processes an in-app purchase, when required by law, or when needed to protect the app, users, rights, safety, or security.

10. Retention and Deletion

Local artwork and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear local artworks, delete the app, or erase the device. Deleting Kuail may remove locally stored artwork and settings from the app sandbox.

Because Kuail is offline-first and does not maintain a user account system, we may not be able to restore artwork after local deletion.

11. Children

Kuail is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Kuail in a way that requires action, please contact us.

12. International Use

If you use Kuail outside your country or region, your device, Apple services, app store transactions, and support communications may be processed according to the laws and service providers applicable to those locations.

13. Your Choices

• You can choose which photos to import.
• You can revoke photo permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can delete individual artwork or clear local artworks inside the app.
• You can avoid optional purchases by not buying coin packs.
• You can choose whether to export or share artwork outside Kuail.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Kuail, legal requirements, or privacy practices. The updated policy will show a new effective date. Continued use of Kuail after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
